CONVERSION OF AUTOMOBILE ENGINES TO AIRCRAFT ENGINES

a) Subaru engine EG-20 155 hp. has a reducer developed by MOTOR Aircraft Repair Enterprise and is equipped with a variable-pitch reversing propeller. Statistical thrust ismax 380 kg at 6000 rpm.

b) The Subaru EA-71 engine was improved to increase power from 87 hp. up to 130 hp. For this purpose, a compressor was installed on the engine and the engine power supply system was changed by using direct fuel injection. Thesystem "Janvar" wasusedformanagement.
